These are the 7 principles for business differentiation by mentor Bill Glazer who originally set 20 points

Here are the points I see as the main ones

  • Opportunity gap - understand where there is a real gap in the market that the business solution meets
  • What is the main benefit to the target market - for example if there is one sentence from which I can understand the whole concept
  • Excellent / unique warranty - Is there a unique warranty for example - within a month you will have squares in your stomach
  • Shortening times - Do you have the option of providing a service solution that is much shorter than competitors

  • Your personal story and personality - what in your story gives the possibility of a unique connection to you or your experience and cause empathy and trust

Here are some more types of business uniqueness / differentiation:

  • Specific target audience
  • Unique theme / field
  • Unique combination - interdisciplinarity
